September's Redliner of the Month

The Redliner of Month honors an employee who lives Redline Equipment’s core values. They are nominated by their peers and receive a gift package that includes a gift card of their choice for their family, a Redline Yeti tumbler, along with lunch with our CEO.

Bob Price, Service Technician in Topeka, is honored as our September Redliner of the Month. Bob is well deserving of this honor; his passion, dedication, knowledge and energy exemplify all of the Redline Equipment core values. He is known as a fun co-worker and sought after master technician.

“When I met with the agency we hired to review the results of the customer research for our rebranding, the first thing they asked is, "who is Bob?,” Heather Hetterick, Redline Equipment Director of Marketing said. “I smiled because I knew where this was going. I said, ‘do you mean combine Bob in Topeka?’ They said yes, we want to meet this guy! They then went on to say what we already knew, farmers told them in the focus groups and survey’s that they buy Case IH combines and do business with us just because they just want Bob to work on their combine.”

Price is an excellent employee who always leads by example.

“He is always willing to go the extra mile and work the long hours during the busy season to keep his customers running,” Hans Huelsenbeck, Topeka location service manager said. “His dedication to them and the personal relationships he forms are why they love and respect him.”

“I receive photos throughout the spring and fall of Bob out all hours of the night, making sure customers are up and running,” Hetterick said. “He defines our definition of heroic customer service.”

His passion doesn't stop in the shop. You can find Bob mentoring young technicians and doing whatever it takes to get a job done including running to get parts. He also actively shares his love of equipment with the community, taking equipment to schools and events.

“Combine Bob” as many refer to him, has been an employee with the company since 1978, working initially part-time through his high school’s Inner Cooperative Training program. Next year Bob will celebrate working for Redline Equipment for 40 years, a feat that his colleagues consider to be remarkable and a prime example of his character and dedication to the job and his customers.

Please join us in congratulating Bob. We’re proud to have him on our team.
