January's Redliner of the Month

  • Categories

The Redliner of Month honors an employee who lives Redline Equipment’s core values. They are nominated by their peers and receive a gift package that includes a gift card of their choice for their family, a Redline Yeti tumbler, along with lunch with our CEO.

Marc Rising, Service Technician at our Adrian Ag store, is honored as our January Redliner of the Month.

Being a highly experienced, sought after service technician, Marc is best known for his heroic customer support; however, the Adrian Location service technician has been living our core values long before we became Redline Equipment.

“Marc sincerely lives up to our motto; any season, any reason, any time,” said Cole Kimerer, Precision Farming Specialist. “He has taught me many very valuable things that I could have never learned on my own due to his expertise. On top of that, I’ve never really heard Marc complain about anything.”

Marc continues to encourage improvements in the company and staff by continually assisting younger technicians. A lot changes over a span of forty years, yet Marc has continued to learn and adapt to industry changes to better serve the company and his customers.

“Marc takes the initiative to learn new technology and is never afraid to ask questions,” said Steve Dinus, salesman at the Adrian location. “He doesn’t seem to let issues bother him. He looks at it and makes humor of it.”

Marc’s light-hearted and caring approach to problems help ground the service team and customers in times of stress. He connects with these individuals in times of doubt to help them feel at ease.

“We need someone like him to say ‘Hey, we can fix it!’” said Dinus.

When Marc isn’t working on equipment, he likes to volunteer his time to the community. He is a long-time supporter of the Lenawee County 4-H program and currently holds the position of Poultry Barn Superintendent. He can always be found, along with his fellow redliners in the Steak Barn helping raise funds for 4-H. He also helps students at Hudson High School with their science Olympiad projects. Marc loves to lend a hand wherever necessary in order to support youth in the community.

Marc was honored in August 2017 for his fortieth year with the company. In 1977, he was hired by previous owner, Dan Hupp, as a teenager, wearing a dirty t-shirt.Marc Rising 3

"That was one of the luckiest days in my business life. Marc became a very important employee for many, many years," Hupp said. "He built a lot of good relationships with customers."

His fellow redliners couldn’t agree more. Join us in congratulating Marc as Redliner of the Month!
