February's Redliner of the Month

  • Categories

The Redliner of the Month honors an employee who loves Redline Equipment's core values. They are nominated by their peers and receive a gift package that includes a gift card of their choice for their family, a Redline Yeti tumbler, along with lunch with our CEO.

Robbie Terry, Service Technician at the Adrian Ag location, is honored as our February Redliner of the Month.

While many were preparing for the excitement of New Years Eve, Robbie Terry was responding to a customer’s after hours call regarding an uncooperative combine.

“I got a call the day of New Years Eve and it’s Robbie. A customer was out running corn and his combine broke down,” said Steve Wilson, Parts Manager. “Robbie wasn’t 100% certain which part he needed, so he called the customer to verify. He found the part and went out to help the customer.”

If working hard on New Years Eve isn’t impressive enough, he once found himself as an overnight guest in a customer’s home while he was over an hour away from his own. He earned a meal from the hosts and the job was completed the next day.

“His capabilities are what you’d expect from someone twenty years older than him,” said Aaron Clark, Robbie’s supervisor and Service Manager. “It’s not surprising, that’s just how Robbie was when I started working here.”

Robbie doesn’t hesitate to ask for advice and seek opportunities that will advance his skills, but he is incredibly humble about his work ethic and talents. In 2017, Robbie was acknowledged as the Lenawee County Farm Bureau Young Farmer Employee Award recipient.

“He’s a single young man who has his act together,” said Kevin Laethem, Adrian Location Manager. “I’m proud of him and feel fortunate he’s on our team.”

Kevin also attests that Robbie has created a great rapport with his customers. Many individuals request Robbie and trust his professional opinions because of his work ethic and customer service. He is in tune with all facets of the business and consistently drives business to Redline.

When he isn’t assisting customers and providing sales leads, Robbie enjoys spending time with his grandfather. Together they restore antique trucks and tractors. He also enjoys summer days on the lake in his speed boat or spending time riding his motorcycle.

“If you were to build a technician from scratch, Robbie would be the mold,” said Zach Hetterick, CEO. “He is smart, hardworking, task-oriented, organized and just an all-around awesome guy.”

His fellow Redliners couldn't agree more. Join us in congratulating Robbie as Redliner of the Month!
