Service, Safety and Wellbeing of Employees and Customers
Redline Equipment Continues to Focus on
Service, Safety and Wellbeing of Employees and Customers
ARCHBOLD, OH, March 13, 2020; Redline Equipment has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation. As a service business, it is extremely important for us to maintain a business-as-usual philosophy and make sure that we are meeting the needs of our customers even during this unprecedented event.
Of even higher importance, is the safety and well-being of our employees and their families. We have used guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to plan and prepare for this event. The primary steps we have implemented include enhanced personal hygiene protocols, social distancing when employees are sick or come in contact with those who are sick and reduced travel and group meetings.
Our customers should not be affected by these steps considering our operation hours and service offerings remain the same at this time. To comply with the Ohio Ban on Mass Gatherings of 100 or more we have canceled our upcoming customer events. See specifics: Ohio Mass Ban
Please note that this situation continues to evolve. We will continue to abide by Government/Health Department rules and recommendations and always be focused on keeping our employees and customers as safe as possible. We will communicate any changes that we make that would have an impact on our customer service.
Please note the following cancellations regarding Redline Equipment specific events and activities:
- The Planter Clinics scheduled for March 17, 19 and 24 have been cancelled.
The Kubota Field Days for April 18 has been cancelled and may be rescheduled for later in the spring.
We will continue to monitor the situation with coronavirus and communicate directly with attendees as decisions are made with respect to any potential postponement or cancellation. Event plans are changing quickly; please confirm plans before attending any Redline Equipment event.
The CDC and state health officials have provided a list of specific things that you can do to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus:
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds or more with soapy water several times a day. If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home while you are sick (except to visit a health care professional) and avoid close contact with others.
- Cover your mouth/nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces each day. Use a household cleaner according to label instructions.
- Avoid large gatherings.
- Use online transactions when possible.
- Avoid visiting nursing homes -- and if you are sick, do NOT visit nursing homes.
- If you have an older person in your home or someone with compromised health, such as asthma, understand that the biggest threat to them may be you bringing the virus into the home.
- If you or a loved one are older, think twice about an upcoming trip.
We will continue to provide additional information relevant to Redline Equipment and its customers as needed.
